Think of one guy. Not a list. One. The one who's gone quiet, or the one you keep meaning to call, or the one whose name showed up in your head somewhere in this letter.

The Journey
You know the drive home. You also know the Tuesday, two or three weeks out, when it went quiet and you started wondering whether any of it took.
You had nothing for that Tuesday. Just the drive home and whatever you could hold onto on your own.
A man who comes home from Texas now has an app on his phone the next morning. It's called The Journey and it walks with him for six months. The first week is holding onto what God said to him out there before Monday buries it. A couple of weeks in it names the mask going back on at work. Around the second month, when it gets heavy and he starts wondering if any of it was real, it's there for that too. It ends with him tied to at least one other man instead of white-knuckling it alone.
