ManAlive Expedition Refund & Transfer Policy
Effective May 8, 2025
Standard Refund Window
Full Refund: Written notice of cancellation 30 days or more before the published start-time of camp qualifies for a full refund of registration fees (less any non-refundable processing fees charged by the payment provider, typically 3%–4%).
Notice must be emailed to [email protected] or submitted through the official cancellation form; the time stamp of the email/form receipt determines eligibility.
Late Cancellations (Less Than 30 Days from Event)
No Cash Refunds.
Fee Transfer: 100 % of the paid amount may be applied to one future ManAlive Expedition occurring within 365 days of the original camp start date.
A transfer code will be issued to the cancelling guest. The transfer credit is single-use and may be applied to any available ManAlive Expedition location (space permitting). If the future camp fee is higher, the balance is due at re-registration; if lower, the difference is forfeited.
Substitute Participant
Up to 72 hours before camp check-in, a paid spot may be assigned to another qualified participant (male, 18+, agrees to the Participant Agreement) at no additional charge. Substitute details must be emailed to [email protected].
Non-Attendance / No-Shows
Guests who fail to attend without prior notice receive no refund and no transfer credit.
Medical or Family Emergencies
We recognize emergencies happen. If a serious illness, injury, or death in the immediate family prevents attendance inside the 30-day window, email documentation (e.g., doctor’s note, obituary link) within 7 days after the camp’s start date.
ManAlive may request additional information or supporting documents to determine whether a full or partial refund (or transfer credit) can be granted.
Each request is evaluated case-by-case, and our goal is always to treat every situation with fairness and compassion while stewarding resources responsibly.
Camp Cancellation by ManAlive
If ManAlive Expedition cancels an event for any reason (e.g., venue closure, natural disaster), registrants may choose:
1) Full refund of fees paid, or
2) Transfer of 100 % of fees to a future Expedition within 18 months.
ManAlive is not responsible for ancillary costs (airfare, hotel, etc.); we strongly recommend travel insurance.
Donations
Contributions to the ManAlive Expedition are charitable gifts and non-refundable once processed.
Merchandise
Branded merchandise purchased through camp registration follows our separate Merchandise Return Policy (30-day unused return for exchange or refund; buyer pays return shipping).
