Who We Are

ManAlive Expedition is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Arkansas.

References to "ManAlive," "we," "us," or "our" mean ManAlive Expedition. References to the "Services" mean the websites, forms, registration pages, donation pages, communication programs, and other online services operated by ManAlive.

Eligibility and Expedition Participation

The ManAlive website may be viewed by members of the general public.

Participation in a ManAlive Expedition is limited to men who are at least 18 years old and who meet the requirements published for the applicable Expedition.

Submitting a registration does not waive any separate Participant Agreement, waiver, safety requirement, camp rule, or event-specific condition.

ManAlive may decline or cancel a registration when reasonably necessary because of eligibility, safety, misconduct, fraud, payment problems, capacity, or failure to complete required information or agreements.

Any refund, transfer, or substitute-participant eligibility is governed by the published Refund & Transfer Policy.

Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, website content created by ManAlive, including text, graphics, photographs, videos, logos, designs, downloadable materials, and other original content, is owned by or licensed to ManAlive Expedition and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

People may share links to publicly available ManAlive pages.

Limited excerpts from publicly available articles or event descriptions may be shared for personal, noncommercial purposes when the source is clearly credited and the material is not altered in a misleading way.

No permission is granted to:

• copy or republish substantial website content
• reproduce ManAlive logos or branding
• sell or commercially exploit ManAlive content
• create misleading derivative materials
• imply endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation
• remove copyright, trademark, or attribution notices

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Services to:

• violate applicable law
• submit false, fraudulent, misleading, defamatory, threatening, or unlawful material
• impersonate another person
• interfere with website, form, payment, or communication systems
• attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, data, or networks
• introduce malicious code or harmful technology
• collect personal information about other users without authorization
• use automated tools in a way that disrupts the Services
• misuse registration, scholarship, donation, coupon, or communication systems
• infringe another person's privacy, publicity, intellectual-property, or other legal rights

Registrations and Event Payments

Dates, locations, schedules, activities, capacity, pricing, and other Expedition details may change before registration.

A registration is complete only after required information, agreements, and payment have been received and the registration has been accepted by ManAlive.

ManAlive may make reasonable schedule, activity, speaker, lodging, meal, or operational changes when needed. Material changes will be communicated using the contact information provided during registration.

Registration payments are governed by:

• the information shown during checkout
• the applicable Participant Agreement and waiver
• the Refund & Transfer Policy
• any event-specific terms disclosed during registration

Each attendee must provide his own required registration, emergency, consent, and waiver information.

Donations

Donations are voluntary charitable contributions to ManAlive Expedition.

A donation does not purchase admission to an Expedition unless the payment is specifically processed and identified as an event registration.

Donations are nonrefundable once processed except when required by law or when ManAlive determines that a processing error occurred.

Donor information and receipts are handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

Text Messages

Feedback, Testimonials, and Private Submissions

Submitting a registration, application, prayer request, question, private message, emergency detail, or other personal information does not automatically give ManAlive permission to publish that information.

ManAlive may publicly use a testimonial, story, photograph, video, audio recording, or other identifiable personal content only when:

• the person has separately authorized the use
• a clearly disclosed release or agreement applies
• or the material was knowingly submitted for public use under terms shown at the time of submission

ManAlive may edit approved testimonial or story content for length, spelling, or clarity, but will not intentionally change its meaning.

A person who submits general suggestions or nonconfidential feedback about the website or services gives ManAlive permission to use that feedback to improve its operations without compensation. This does not grant permission to publish private personal information or an identifiable personal story.

Third-Party Services and Links

The Services may link to or rely on websites and systems operated by third parties, including camps, payment processors, donation platforms, form providers, email and text-message providers, analytics services, social platforms, and other vendors.

Third-party services are governed by their own terms, privacy policies, availability, and security practices.

ManAlive does not control and is not responsible for third-party services merely because a link or integration appears on a ManAlive page.

Informational and Faith-Based Nature

ManAlive website content and Expeditions provide faith-based education, personal reflection, community, and peer support.

They are not medical, psychiatric, psychological, legal, financial, or other licensed professional services.

Website content, volunteer conversations, testimonials, prayers, sessions, journals, and other ManAlive materials do not replace care from a qualified professional.

Anyone experiencing a medical or mental-health emergency should contact emergency services or an appropriate qualified provider.

Website Availability and Disclaimers

The Services are provided on an "as available" basis.

ManAlive works to keep its information accurate and its online services functioning, but it does not guarantee that:

• every page will always be available
• every error will be corrected immediately
• every external link will remain active
• every message or form submission will be delivered without delay
• website content will meet every user's particular need

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ManAlive disclaims warranties that are not expressly stated in these Terms.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ManAlive Expedition and its directors, officers, employees, and volunteers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising solely from use of or inability to use the website or other online Services.

This section does not limit liability that cannot legally be limited.

Expedition participation, physical activities, personal property, transportation, and other event matters are governed by the applicable Participant Agreement, waiver, camp rules, and event-specific terms.

Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ManAlive Expedition and its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, agents, and representatives from and against all third-party claims, demands, actions, liabilities, judgments, damages, losses, costs, and reasonable attorneys' fees arising out of or relating to:

1. your use or misuse of the Services;
2. your violation of these Terms or applicable law;
3. information, content, or materials you submit;
4. fraud, impersonation, unauthorized activity, or infringement committed by you;
5. your acts or omissions connected with a registration, donation, communication, transaction, or ManAlive activity; or
6. injury, loss, or damage connected with those acts or omissions.

This indemnification obligation applies even when a covered claim is alleged to have been caused in part by the ordinary negligence of a ManAlive indemnified party. It does not apply to the extent a final judgment determines that the claim resulted from that indemnified party's gross negligence, intentional misconduct, or conduct for which indemnification is prohibited by law.

ManAlive may control the defense and settlement of a covered claim. You agree to cooperate reasonably in that defense. You may not settle a claim in a way that admits wrongdoing by, imposes obligations on, or requires payment from ManAlive without ManAlive's written consent.

This section does not replace or limit any Participant Agreement, liability waiver, camp rule, event-specific agreement, or insurance coverage.

Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arkansas, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

Any dispute arising under these Terms will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Faulkner County, Arkansas, and you consent to their personal jurisdiction.

Changes to These Terms

ManAlive may update these Terms as its Services, practices, or legal requirements change.

The revised Terms will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.

Changes apply prospectively from their effective date unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Where appropriate, ManAlive may provide additional notice of a material change.

Suspension or Termination of Access

ManAlive may restrict or suspend access to an online Service when reasonably necessary to:

• address a violation of these Terms
• protect a person or the organization
• investigate suspected fraud or misuse
• maintain security
• comply with law
• discontinue or modify a Service

This does not create a right to cancel an existing registration outside the applicable registration, waiver, safety, and refund terms.

Severability

If a provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the extent permitted by law.
