Payment Information

Registration and donation payments are processed by third-party payment providers. ManAlive uses Stripe for registration payments made on the website, Tithely for donations, and Square for card payments taken in person at Expedition check-in.

ManAlive may receive transaction details such as the payer's name, contact information, payment amount, transaction status, and limited payment-method information.

ManAlive does not receive or store complete payment-card numbers through its website forms or its in-person card terminal.

Payments and Donations

Payment providers process payment information under their own privacy policies and security practices. Registration payments made on the website are processed by Stripe. Donations are processed by Tithely. Card payments taken in person at Expedition check-in are processed by Square.

ManAlive receives the information needed to confirm registrations, record donations, issue receipts, address payment questions, and maintain financial and tax records.

Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising

ManAlive and its service providers may use cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies to operate the website, remember preferences, measure visits and form activity, understand campaign performance, and support advertising.

The technologies in use may include Google Analytics and similar services.

Most browsers allow users to block or delete cookies. Blocking cookies may affect some website functionality.

Data Retention

People may unsubscribe from marketing email using the unsubscribe link in the message.

Text-message recipients may reply STOP to opt out of future messages from the applicable messaging program.

ManAlive may need to verify the requester's identity before acting on a request. Some information may be retained when required or permitted for legal, financial, safety, insurance, dispute-resolution, or operational reasons.

The ManAlive website and Expedition registration services are not directed to children under 13, and ManAlive does not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13.

ManAlive Expeditions are limited to men who are at least 18 years old.

If ManAlive learns that personal information was collected online from a child under 13, it will take reasonable steps to delete the information.

International Processing

ManAlive is based in the United States. Information collected through its services may be stored or processed in the United States and in other locations where its service providers operate.

Privacy and data-protection laws in those locations may differ from the laws where the user lives.
