OCTOBER 22-25, 2026 · FRONTIER CAMP · GRAPELAND, TX
Real men. Real fires. No churchy fluff. No forced sharing.
$299 Early Bird / $349 After
You're going through the motions. Work, kids, church on Sunday, repeat.
You're surrounded by people but nobody actually knows you.
You've been ghosted by guys who said they had your back.
Church feels boring. You'd never say that out loud.
You carry shame you've never told a soul.
You're tired of pretending you're fine.
You wonder if your faith is real or if you're just running the program.
Some mornings you can't tell if you're depressed or just tired.
You've got a wife, kids, coworkers, a small group, maybe a hunting buddy. You're never physically alone. And you've never felt more alone in your life. Most men at ManAlive showed up with this exact feeling. Most of them go home with it broken.
You'd never say it from a pew. But the truth is, the wafer-thin religious phrases stopped working a long time ago. You want something real. Something you can feel. Not another sermon.
Maybe it's a habit. Maybe it's a thing you did. Maybe it's a thing that happened to you. Whatever it is, you've never told anyone. You're sure if they knew, they'd look at you differently. The men at ManAlive know that fear. Many of them carried it through the gate at Frontier Camp. Many of them left it there.
You've thought about doing something like this for a while. You haven't pulled the trigger. Maybe it's the time off work. Maybe the cost. Maybe the quiet fear that it'll be weird. We get it. This is for you.
You've tried it before. Men's group. Church retreat. The accountability text thread that died after a month. Whatever it was, it didn't take. You're done with fake brotherhood. We don't blame you. This is for you anyway.
You're already in. You pray. You lead. You're trying to be a good man. And something is still off. You can feel it. You just can't name it. This is for you.

"ManAlive was a huge catalyst in my life in getting my heart back and restoring my true identity that had been stolen from me for so long."
Matt Hooyer
Mountain Home, AR

"Words can't fully express the impact this last weekend has made on my life. Like everyone else who experienced it, I went into it with skepticism and left with a fire in my soul."
BILL ANDERSON
Chippewa Falls, WI

"My experience at the ManAlive Expedition was nothing short of transformational. I left feeling renewed, recharged, and reconnected with God in ways I had not experienced in many years."
JEREMY BEEHN
Searcy, AR

"ManAlive gave me hope, tools to use, and a brotherhood I never knew existed."
ZACH GOUDY
Denison, TX

"Changed my life - I'm truly now more of a beloved son. So filled up & the overflow can't be stopped!"
TG
Conway, AR

"I don't have the words. Let's just say that this weekend's experience probably saved my life."
GD
Batesville, AR

"What stood out the most was the feeling of authenticity and vulnerability across the board. It matters because being real is the most important quality I look for wherever I go."
NP
Litchfield, MN
You leave Frontier Camp feeling something for the first time in a long time. Not a religious high. Something that doesn't wear off by Wednesday.
Not perfect. Not fixed. Different. Your wife will notice. Your kids will notice. You'll notice.
Real ones. Guys who'll pick up when you call. Not church friends. Not coworkers. The kind of brotherhood you've been missing for a decade.
You spent 30 years building the poser. ManAlive is where you start putting him down. You don't have to be perfect to do it. You just have to be honest.
That's what most men say. We didn't make it the tagline. They did.
You arrive at Frontier Camp around 6pm. You meet the guys on team. You eat. You settle in. You sleep in an indoor cabin with bunk-style beds.
Sessions, fires, meals, and real conversation. Outdoor stuff if you want it: skeet, hiking, disc golf. Quiet time if you need it. The pace is intentional. Nothing is rushed.
One last meal. One last conversation. Then leaving for home by noon.
We won't force you to share.
We won't psychoanalyze you.
We won't tell you to cry on cue.
We won't ask you to do trust falls or hold hands in a circle.
We will invite you into honest conversation. Whether you take that invitation is your call.

Already know this is for you?
Most retreats end Sunday and disappear by Wednesday. Not this one. Three things keep going after you go home.
Every Monday morning for 26 weeks, you get an email. Short. Direct. Built around what you walked into and what you walked out with. Not a course. Not a curriculum. Something that keeps you from drifting back to who you were on the way in.
About a month after you go home, John picks up the phone. 30 minutes, one-on-one, no agenda. We talk about what's stuck and what's slipping. No pitch for the next event. No upsell. Just the call you were probably never going to get from any other men's program you've been to.
Closed Facebook group for Expedition alumni only. The men you went through the weekend with stay reachable. Foxhole brotherhood doesn't end on Sunday at noon.
5 minutes. John Pulley on why ManAlive exists and who it's actually for. No pitch. Just real talk.
Footage from a recent ManAlive Expedition. Phone-quality on purpose.
ManAlive Expedition was started by six men who needed it themselves: Darrell Amy, Darrell Fitts, Gerrit Gerritsen, Bryon Henry, Joshua Keylor, and John Pulley. We've run 32 Expeditions since we started.
Every one of us came through this same weekend. Every man on our team came through it. There are no professional facilitators here. Just men who got their hearts back at ManAlive and came back to help the next man do the same. We're a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. The Council governs the organization. The men who show up to lead the weekend do it on their own time, for free.

Honest answer: you typically can, you just have to ask. The weekend runs Thursday evening through Sunday noon. That's two work days for most guys. Tell your boss you're taking a long weekend. Don't tell him why if you don't want to.
Frontier Camp is at 131 Frontier Camp Rd, Grapeland, TX 75844. East Texas Pineywoods. About 2.5 hours from Houston, 2.5 hours from Dallas, 1.5 hours from Bryan/College Station. Drive in Thursday afternoon. We'll send detailed directions and a packing list once you register.
No. Our foundation is faith. All of us follow Jesus. But you don't have to share that to come. Plenty of men show up unsure. They get treated like men, not projects.
No. Never. The depth you go to is your call. Some men talk a lot. Some men don't say a word the whole weekend. Both are fine.
No. Outdoor activities are optional. You sleep indoors. You eat indoors. Sessions are indoors. The fires are outside but you can wear a jacket. If you want to do skeet, hike, jump off the lake blob, or wakeboard, the gear is provided. If you want to sit by the fire instead, that's also a full weekend.
Honest answer: we can't promise it'll be different. We can tell you that 32 Expeditions in, every man on team is a volunteer. Nobody's getting paid. Nobody's working a quota. That's a different dynamic than the groups you're thinking of.
Full refund up to 30 days before the event (less the 3-4% processing fee). Inside 30 days, no cash refund, but 100% of what you paid transfers to a future Expedition within 365 days. You can also send another guy in your place up to 72 hours before check-in. Family or medical emergency, email us. Full policy is found here.
That's how most men get here. Bring him. Same price for him. Send him this page.
30-day refund window. Full refund, no questions asked, up to 30 days before the event.
Closer to the date than that, email us. 100% of what you paid transfers to a future Expedition within the next year. Or send another guy in your place up to 72 hours before check-in.
If you get there and it's not for you, walk. We'll listen, we won't pressure you, and we'll figure it out. We've run this 32 times. We know how to handle it.
You don't have anything to prove to us. You just have to show up.
